Technical SEO

Technical SEO is the set of behind-the-scenes fixes (speed, crawlability, structured data, mobile) that let search engines find and rank your site.

Technical SEO is everything under the hood that helps search engines crawl, understand, and rank your site. Content and links get most of the attention, but if the technical foundation is broken, none of that work pays off.

The pieces that matter most

  • Site speed and Core Web Vitals, since slow pages lose rankings and visitors.
  • Crawlability and indexing: a clean sitemap, sensible robots rules, no orphan pages.
  • Structured data (JSON-LD schema) so engines know what each page represents.
  • Mobile-first, responsive layouts, because that is how most people search.
  • Clean URL structure, proper canonical tags, and no duplicate-content traps.

Every site I build ships with these foundations in place from day one. If you have an existing site, a free audit is usually the fastest way to see what is holding it back.
